Yushi “Horikichi” Takei was born in Tokyo, Japan. Horikichi specializes in “Tebori”, a traditional Japanese tattoo technique made by hand. Ranging from a large scale full body suit to a small hand sized tattoo, Horikichi creates series of vivid, soft and strong tattoos that last lifetime. Horikichi has lived and traveled throughout the world practicing his art. Producing multiple books and artworks, Horikichi’s presence is known internationally.
